Searching Records
This button is probably the most frequently used one. First locate the cursor on the interested table on screens, and then click on this button or this
button. The following dialog shows up:
Provid no filter value and hit button OK to tell the system to pull out all records.

Inserting a New Record
First locate the cursor to the interested table, and then click on this or this
button to insert a new record in that table.

Deleting a Record
First move the cursor to the interested table, and then click on this or this
button to delete that record.
![]() | Be extremely caucious! Deleted rows can not be recovered. Before clicking on this button, make sure your cursor docks on the correct record. Failing to do so, you are very likely to delete wrong record. When the record on the higher level on the screen is deleted, all the associated records on the lower levels on the screen are also deleted in cascade. |

(desktop only) Updating a Record
First move cursor to the interested record and then click on this button to begin changing values for that record. Usually there is no need to click on this button to start the changes.

Saving a Record

button to save the changed field values on the currently active record, or the new record you have created, to database.

Abandoning Data Changes
To discard the changes to the focused record before it is saved to database, click on this button or

(desktop only) Refresh Records

button to display the help if there is one for it.
Field Help
Some fields associate with on line helps. First locate cursor on that field, and then click on this or this button
to display the help for that field if there is one:

Upload Image File
When a record has an image field, click on that field and press this to upload your image file and embed the image into that image field.
Sorting Records Ascendingly
Place cursor on the target field. Then click on this or this
button. From now on, the pulled out data records are sorted ascendingly by this field values.

(desktop only) Automatically Adjusting Grid Column Widths
Automatically Adjusting Column Widths In Grids
Focus cursor on the target grid and click on this button . If this grid was not in automatic adjustment state, then it will automatically adjust the column widths and manual adjustment is no longer allowed. Otherwise, this grid allows you to manually adjust its column widths.
Manually Adjusting Column Widths In Grids
To manully adjust column width, drag to the left or right the field seperator on title row in the grid.
Attaching Files To Data Records
Press this or this
button, if available, to show the window with which you can attach files to the current record shown on the screen:
(desktop only) Saving Data Set To File
First pull out data set by clicking on this button , then focus cursor on any target data set (associated with fields or grids) and press this button
. Then follow the instructions to save the target data set to files.

View Log
First focus cursor on target table, then click on this or this
button, then the insert or update history to this table will display.
