17.8. Designing Menu

Screens are attached to menu items. When end users choose that menu item, that corresponding screen is then created accordingly.

Follow these steps to design PostERP menu system:

1. Enter phrase as parent menu item or sub-menu item on screen [MzF2] (see Section 17.1).

   If this menu item already exists, re-use it.

2. Enter the aforementioned phrase# on screen [MzF8] to construct the menu structure. Consult the screen on-line help.

3. Optionally configure the main menu item on screen [MzF9].

   Enter phrase as main menu item on screen [MzF2] beforehand if the main menu item does not exist.
